lovin' you
luv, me

This morning, I went to exchange the bread I've bought earlier on, because a dead fly was found inside. The owner's mother or mother-in-law was cursing and swearing, because I had already eaten a portion of it. She was damn pissed when the son or son-in-law agreed to change. May I continue the story from here...

Some people apparently lack the ability to practise sound judgement.

The Old

If I hadn't been kind enough to send the bread for exchange, but sent the bread to NEA for investigation, the bakery would have closed shop for 2 weeks, plus the tarnished reputation and loss of cousumers' confidence. The aunty apparently thought that I wanted to cheat their money, flour, eggs, cheese and blueberry, that was why I returned the bread after 2 bites. If I had been admitted to the hospital, what they'd have paid wouldn't be just the hospitalization fee, but loss of income, and the mental compensation due to phobia to eat bread for the rest of my life.

The New

I once found a fried ant in a Zinger only till the last few bites. Upon realization, I sent the Zinger for exchange and the staff gladly replaced a new one, hoping that I would not have taken a photo of it and upload it somewhere. I once bought a few Sundaes and Apple Pies to go, but the staff was brilliant enough to prepare the Sundaes first and the Apple Pies 10min later. As expected, the Sundaes did not stay in the solid state. The manager replaced all the Sundaes and gave me a few vouchers to redeem burgers for free.

The Old and The New

Some people live on the old while living in the new, while others live on the new while living in the old. I believe that I thrive on the later, as per a conversation with my friend long ago. He had tattoos during Hollywood days, but the leader was strongly against it. He said that entering Christianity was as though entering into another bondage. I agreed with him totally, and encouraged him to leave. "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." But this was apparently found lacking.

Some people return to the old like a dog which returns to its own vomit. Some people revisit their old wounds, hoping that the old wound would have healed, but in actual fact, it had rotted. Some people reunite with their old love, fantasizing that it was true love, only to misunderstood what love was. Some people forsook the new, thinking that the old was better, while in fact, the old was poisonous.
