San Francisco - A city set on a hill

I'm falling in love with this place! Went to the Fisherman's Wharf, took a boat and went under the Golden Gate Bridge, the view was just spectacular! After which, I walked my way to the Coit Tower, and oversaw the Oakland Bay Bridge and the entire Downtown! Chinatown here should be called Hong Kong town, coz most of the Chinese here speak Cantonese, so you can guess their origin. I walked bout 7 hours today, with little breaks in between, but it's all worth it, coz I've combed the most exciting part of San Francisco.

Clam chowder soup used to be something that I heard of, but today, I've tried the authentic one at the Fisherman's Wharf, which is served in a sourdough bowl. I think it beats all those found in Singapore, flat. Today, Kathryn, Michael, 1st Aunt and I went to the Fisherman's Wharf together. On our way there, Kathryn didn't want 1st Aunt to hold her hand, but she clung on tightly to me. I felt so loved.. She's so adorable, not by the way she looks, but by every way she responds to me. She's always holding on to me. Because Michael fell sick, so they had to leave early while I continued my independent tour. After parting, both Michael and Kathryn turned around to look at me, but Kathryn continued to turn around after a distance. That touched me. At home, she'd want a piggyback ride, she'd want to run to me and jump onto me, and I gotta lift her up, she'd cling on to my thigh, refusing to let me go. Now, I'm really inspired to have a daughter...

Time really flies. Tomorrow marks the last day in San Francisco and the United States. I'd be leaving for the San Francisco Airport at 0530hr on Friday morning, after which I'd transit at Los Angeles, and again at Osaka, and finally in Taiwan. God is good, because I've never imagined that I am where I am now, with whom I'm with and doing what I'm doing. God has done exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond all that I can ever hope for or imagine. With the reluctance to travel, coupled with minimal motivation to be exposed, I can now safely say that I have now been exposed to the different cultures in the maximum possible number of days, i.e. 40 days in total, leaving footprints in Sri Lanka, Houston, Austin, Galveston, San Francisco and Berkeley, with minimal expenses in accomodation and traveling. Altogether, I've spent less than $3,000 for the 40 days trip. I am indeed, blessed.
