On Monday, my friend Kenneth drove me to Changi Airport, 80km/h. On board China Airlines, 960km/h. Coach to Taipei, 100km/h. Taxi to Brother's place, 70km/h. Slept at 0200hr, woke up at 0620hr. Taxi to KMT election HQ, 70km/h. HQ to Taipei Railway Station, 50km/h. Taipei to Tainan, 300km/h via High Speed Rail.

Facts have said that Silent Night is the darkest night in the northern hemisphere, while legends have said that Chinese New Year Eve is the coldest night in the southern hemisphere. The temperature here is simply unbearable. Thank God for the 5cm thick blankets on top of the thick jacket I'm wearing.
