Virtual World, Genuine Character

Yesterday, I was whacked by someone in Warbook, 8 fireballs in a row. My lost was about 200,000 troops, which is about 18% of my entire strength. Total loss was estimated to be 70million gold. Well, I didn't retaliate, coz I know for sure, the person will not survive long. True enough, the person is almost dead by now.

This led me to ponder about the reason for the attacker's expression. He must be someone who is very insecure, hence he needs to flex his muscle all the time. He is also probably a very angry and unforgiving person, always ready to fight, always taking things into his own hands. In a virtual world like Warbook, the true color of a person stands naked by his actions. I felt so sorry for him, coz the more he attacks, the more his weaknesses are revealed and the more miserable he feels deep in his heart. Lament.

I finally donated blood yesterday, after about 6 months since the previous round in July 2007 had some complication. I am not spared this time either, coz the blood is always drawn from my side vein. That resulted in taking about 45min for the procedure, whilst a normal person would take no more than 15min. The most senior nurse had to attend to me very frequently, so as to ensure that I'm alright and that the blood flows. She even told me not to donate in the future, coz it's really tough to draw. Nonetheless, that did not deter me, though I was shivering in cold, trembling in pain. As the needle stayed in my vein for too long, the local anaesthetic was beginning to lose effect after 40min.

At last, my 9th donation. I'd be marking the 10th anniversary at the end of April...
