If not for some sickness that plague me, I don't think I have time for this entry!

Well, it's been long since I last came here. Life has just been exciting, so much so that I only have time to check e-mail. This coming Friday will be my last day of work at CWT. Though it's fulfilling, but the fulfilling stage only lasted for about one month, because beyond that time frame, I've not learnt anything new, which means that it was mundane and routine. Well, if you have read or studied my life, you'd long realize that my life is unpredictable and miraculous. As such, it is rather difficult to fit into that kind of liftstyle. Seriously, I can't wait to leave CWT because I'm just mentally tired after 1 continuous year in NTU without any break! Not even Chinese New Year I guess..

Anyway, Jan came for service last week, 16 July 2006. It was Pastor Che Anh who preached. He is simply awesome and divine! Much healing took place, and I'm still believing for Jan's. Slowly but surely, his condition will surely improve. I believe that God has a great purpose for him! After all, a finger took 3 months to grow back to it's full length! So, the wait is worthwhile. I pray for a portion of God's faith!

This coming week will be the commencement of Making Marriage Work '06. I'm so excited about it, because I know that this series will bless so many of us! It's not just about marriage, but it's also about the building relationship with people and maintaining lasting friendship as well. I'm actually inviting Ping Ting's elder sister to come, and I pray that she will be so blessed by the truth and will be so set free in her mind and in her thoughts. Praying for more friends to come, because I don't want to be selfish, good things worth sharing and sharing with as many people as possible!

This coming Saturday, the Taiwan Emerge hero and heroine will be back! I know they definitely had a great time there! We gonna hear so many wonderful praise reports! Next Wednesday, 26 July 2006, Ping Ting and I will fly for Taiwan. This is the first time she is flying to Taiwan, and her father finally approves her coming. Well, we'll return on 5 August 2006, Saturday. So it'll be altogether 10.5 days trip. I know we gonna have such an awesome time over there, meeting my family and touring and eating etc etc etc...

Before I forget, Wei Yan, Ruixiang, Jan and I actually went to Clarke Quay on Sunday after service. From there, we went over to Esplanade and tour around. It was indeed an enjoyable trip, though the sun was unforgiving! How did I fall sick? It all began on Thursday night when I knew that I was kind of down physically. Sunday's sun made it worst, but still manageable, but who knows that a simply cough and sore throat sparked more severe illness. I left office at about 1430hr on Tuesday to see a doctor at our Medical Center. I felt bloated in my stomach then and felt like vomiting, but didn't tell the doctor. So, the doctor prescribed medicine only for my phlegm, cough and sore throat. After I returned to my room, I had diarrhoea, then I vomited. It definitely wasn't a pleasant experience. My simple illness sparked indigestion which caused diarrhoea and vomiting. I couldn't eat anything after I vomited until 24hr later. I couldn't really sleep due to the excessive gastric juice or Hydrochloric Acid (HCL 1 mol/dm3) in my stomach. It is also because of HCL that caused me to have nausea all the time, like a pregnant woman! Haiz.. Finally, I saw the doctor again and got more medicine. I'm currently taking 8 types of medicine to get myself well... Gotta thank Chee Yen for bringing gastric tablets to my room in the middle of night, if not, I would have vomited my way through the night!

Well, lesson learnt: When one is sick, the immune system is down, just like a pc with open ports which are prone to hacking or virus attack. At this point of time, any part or organ of us is prone to further destruction, just like how my intestines did. Mind you, the emperor in 大長今 died of intestinal problems! As such, one must bear in mind to eat only porridge and non-oily food whenever one is sick or feeling ill. If not, intestinal problems such as stomach flu or indigestion may arise and cause more painful symptoms!
