posted : 09 May 2006 Some public announcement for all bout' my change of itinerary: I am supposed to be flying back to Taiwan on 10 May 2006, which is tomorrow. However, due to some holy intervention, I've started my internship with CWT Distribution Limited on 8 May 2006. I would be staying with the company until end of July, then fly back to Taiwan. I'll fly back asap due to the starting of school on 7 August. Btw, 9 August is National Day and the following day is a public holiday, so I can afford to delay my return trip. Well, actually my AA102 accounting tutor Mrs Chan Ai Lin gave me the opportunity to be there. She is the same tutor who gave me endless consultation due to my inconsistent attendance, such a wonderful tutor! Really appreciate her from the bottom of my heart! =) I am right now in the Accounts Payable department. The company has up to 7 elements in its accounting ledger structure! I mean, they have humongous assets that is driving me crazy! @ @" Today, I learnt to key in all the invoices on one genre, i.e. purchase of tire, flap, tube and rim and so on and so forth. Everyday, I am faced with different type of invoices. Above and beyond that, I stamped 1,000+ invoices for processing today, and all of them are from PSA!! Currently, I've started work for only 2 days and I am still learning. So much things to absorb, and there is no textbook to refer to. I have to take down note (which I never do in school) and refer to it when using the accouting database and softward called CODA. But, life is exciting! There's a 45-seater Comfort bus to pick me up to and fro CWT at Jurong Point. I mean, what better can it be? =) The sad thing is that there are only 2 stalls in the cafeteria, both are mixed rice, one Chinese, one Malay, but the dishes are similar and both are Halal, so it makes no difference!! Haha~ Well, this is my first office job, sitting there whole there enhances the contour of my stomach, but dries my eyes and brain. Whatever it is, it's definitely such a wonderful learning experience. Thank you Mrs Chan!!! I must place her poster here someday, haha~
